Fritomania has the best poutine I've tried from anywhere in the world. Its amzing. If you're reading this... GO TRY IT. Its worth driving from anywhere to try it. Yum! Get a pogo with it and dip in the gravy.

The owners of the chip stand are very sweet. They have a hydraulic french fri cutter attached to the wall. They mean bissness. Best poutine and service in all of Ottawa!

Ordered a small and medium poutine. Small was definitely more than enough. Reason I took off a star is because I dont like it when the cheese curds are squeaky if you know what I mean.. I prefer them all melted...

I think this is a great option if you are in Orleans. That being said, I would not drive far to this place to eat their poutine - there are better options downtown and other parts of Ottawa.The staff is very friendly and smiley, but to my disappointment, the fries were very chalky.

Hands down the best poutine in Ottawa! If you are a true poutine lover, you have to pay this bright orange fry stand a visit. They use peanut oil for their fries, smooth gravy, super squeaky fresh St.Albert cheese curds, and good portions. The best customer service you will ever get :) always greeted with a smile. They are shut down during the winter mid-December to mid-March, weather dependent. Nowhere else compares!

If I had to describe Fritomania in one sentence, I would say it's: The Best Poutine I've ever had. Other than the fantastic poutine, the staff is extremely friendly, and always recognizes their regulars, and greet everyone with a smile. It's easy to see how they really care about their customers.Their food is simple but they have managed to perfect every aspect of it. They are best known for their poutine, and I would recommend anyone to get that on their first time visit. The poutine's fries are cooked in a boardwalk fashion, and they use potatoes cut freshly thought-out the day. Their cheese and gravy is also absolutely fantastic. Don't forget to bring cash, because this place is cash only. Despite that, this place is worth the drive.

Not sure how they do it (must be the peanut oil), but their fries are always coming out crispy, delicious and full of flavor. The cost is relatively low for the quantity as well, so you definitely get a generous bang for your buck. I've been coming here since I was a kid and they've never changed anything about their shack. That means they're doing it right, and the people of Orleans can attest to that! However, be careful! They make their fries with peanut oil for the flavor, so people with peanut allergies need to be weary. (They have multiple warnings posted inside the shack.)

They have the best bacon. I always get my poutine with bacon because the bacon is so good.I love the staff. They're always incredible. I was shocked when I found out I could call my order in ahead of time so I don't have to wait outside. It's a small shack-like building, but it's so good that I'm willing to wiggle my way into the cramped space to place an order. This says a lot because I am the type of person who hates crowds and feel claustrophobic, but whatever....worth it for Fritomania.Prices are pretty fair, too.

This place is the last place left in Ottawa who has not drastically increased their prices, while lowering quality and quantity of food. Went for a meal with me, hubby and son. We were all moving slowly after splitting a double layered family poutine (vegetarian gravy too - which another client swore was not possible as it tastes meaty to them) and we were all full beyond imagine, and have healthy appetites. Not cheap with cheese curds either! Strongly recommend, a great place and been around forever!

The best fries and poutine in Orleans. The owners are very nice. The portions are very generous and priced very fairly. The poutines always have plenty of gravy and cheese curds out throughout the fries. They are very popular though so sometimes there's a bit of a wait.

My favourite poutine place around. Delicious fries and poutine! Super friendly staff. Very busy place but service is very quick. You can also call ahead to avoid the wait, but it really not that long. Lots of parking and a few picnic tables outside, if you decide to stay. Haven’t tried the deep fried banana yet, but it tempts me every time!

Definitely a good spot. I only had poutine and it was quite enjoyable. The gravy is very tasteful, the curds are fair sized and plentiful and the fries are very good. They are cooked in peanut oil so keep that in mind.

Very good poutine with a ton of curds. I felt the gravy lacked a little something savoury, but otherwise delicious. Let it cool a little for maximum flavour.

Love the poutine here. The gravy to cheese fry ratio is yummy . The sausage however needs improvement had a not so great taste. Burgers are good. But fries or poutine is where it's at.

Just like the people say it is! If a buiseness has manadged to run for this long, they got to be doing it right. I personally got to tour their house where they hand cut the fries and make the gravy. The gravy is vegetarian and the prices are low. The people who run the fry shack are always polite and seem motivated to do their job. I love this place and their food and will always be a returning customer. The place closes seasonaly from mid December to mid March. I recomend for the colder days to get a small poutine as it is loaded and in my opinion, anything above that seems more suitable for two people. Enjoy!
